Shalakany had the pleasure of receiving Mr. Gao JUN, partner of Zhejiang Linghang, a leading law firm of Hangzhou province in China on October 6th, 2025. The visit’s main purpose was the execution and finalization of a Framework Cooperation Agreement between our two firms. This agreement establishes a framework for collaboration in areas including the exchange of legal expertise, joint organization of professional events and publications, and, most importantly, cooperation in serving clients with interests in both jurisdictions.
Shalakany also had the honor, on the fringe of the ceremony, to welcome an official delegation led by Mr. Bian Jikun, Deputy Director of the Yuhang Economic Development Zone in Linping District, China, reflecting the broader institutional interest in enhancing economic and legal ties between Egypt and China.
During the meeting, we engaged in constructive discussions on investment opportunities in Egypt, the growing interest of Chinese investors in the Egyptian market, and the mechanisms through which Chinese entities can effectively navigate the Egyptian legal and investment environment. We also explored avenues for supporting Egyptian companies seeking to expand into the Chinese market.
We look forward to a productive and enduring cooperation that contributes to strengthening bilateral investment and business relations between Egypt and China.
