Shalakany is delighted and honored to announce that it is currently acting as local lead counsel representing AngloGold Ashanti plc in its recommended acquisition of Centamin plc with Slaugher and May acting as international lead counsel for AngloGold Ashanti plc. Centamin plc is an established gold producer, whose flagship Tier 1 asset is the Sukari gold mine, which is Egypt’s largest and first modern gold mine, as well as one of the world’s largest producing mines.
