Shalakany Proudly Hosts the 2024 Egyptian National Rounds of Jessup Competition.
The 2024 Egyptian National Rounds of the prestigious Jessup Moot Court Competition were held at Shalakany’s Office on February 23rd and 24th, 2024.
The Jessup Moot Court Competition stands as the globe’s largest moot court event, drawing participants from approximately 700 law schools across 100 nations and jurisdictions.
Securing victory in the Egyptian National Rounds, “Institut de Droit des Affaires Internationales – IDAI” who will represent Egypt in the forthcoming International Rounds in Washington, DC.
British University in Egypt clinched the best memorials award, while the title of 1st best oralist was claimed by Hana El Ansary from IDAI – Cairo University French Section. Saif Al Assal from Cairo University – English Section secured the 2nd best oralist position.
The Shalakany team organizing the Jessup comprised of Adam Shalakany, Nada Hesham Hashem, Alia Atef, Ragya Shoukry and Youssef Omar.
Shalakany and White & Case LLP will extend their support by sponsoring the victorious team’s journey to represent Egypt at the Global Rounds of Jessup in April 2024 in Washington, DC. The 2024 Egyptian National Rounds of the Jessup Moot Court Competition were a resounding success, and Shalakany takes immense pride in its role as host.
