The publications provides insights on the much anticipated and forthcoming pre-merger clearance regime including a detailed overview of the new additions to the regime such as the amended conditions and requirements of an economic concentration, the new turnover thresholds, and the two-phase review process to be adopted by the Egyptian Competition Authority.
