Biography
Mahmoud Joined the firm in 1983, becoming a partner in 1999 and a senior partner in 2005.

As the head of Litigation Department, Mr. Shedid undertakes the full range of work required by the Firm’s clients. While retaining under his direct control all matters relating to banking, taxes, real estate, tourism, construction, labor, trade disputes and litigation, Mr. Shedid ensures that the needs of the Firm’s clients, in the sphere of commercial corporate law, are properly and carefully delegated to other specialties within the Firm.

Mahmoud Shedid addresses and resolves disputes before courts, meditation panels, admirative bodies, Ministry of Justice experts and the State Council.

He also handles legal procedures such as preparing and reviewing corporate/commercial documents, preparing written pleadings, drafting and reviewing claim writs and memoranda drafting of legal opinions, attending courts hearings, raisings appeals and all related services, and has worked closely with a number of Firm’s major clients including: Al Madar Finance and Investment Company, Public Works Authority “Ashghal” Qatar,  Accor Hotels S.A., Lever Egypt, Credit Agricole Bank, Emaar Egypt, Mena House Oberoi, Majed Al Futtaim, Lewis Trust Group, Bank of America, Sami Saad and Co., Korean Air, Daimler Chrysler, Dallah International Holding Co, Louis Dreyfus, American Express Bank New York, Mobinil, Suez Cement, CEMEX, Al Ahram Beverages Company and the Commercials International Bank.
