We are happy to announce that in continuation of the Firm’s long-standing tradition of organizing and supporting the mooting community in Egypt amongst students and universities, Shalakany is administering and will organize the 2024 National Rounds of the largest moot court competition in the world: “The Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition “Jessup”.
Jessup is a Public International Law competition and is one of the oldest mooting competitions in the world. Students in the Jessup plead and adjudicate thrilling and thought-provoking claims pertaining to matters of public international law before a mock ICJ Court.
This year, we have witnessed an unforeseen number of participating universities as the competition continues to grow.
This is your last chance to be a part of this life-changing experience! The deadline for registration and submission of the final team roster is on November 17th, 2023.
Shalakany assists in sponsoring the winning team (National Champion) to participate in the 2024 Jessup international rounds taking place in Washington, D.C.
Important notices:
– Jessup is open to Law and Political Sciences students.
– To be able to participate in the Jessup, students must have a good command of the English language and all students in one team are enrolled in the same university.
– We will be accepting only ONE team from each university. Accordingly, please ensure you coordinate with your university.
– Shalakany will not be responsible for any internal university matters, including the selection of your team members.
